The Embrace of Greenery

Beside man-made dwellings, nature’s wildness never truly departs. Modern architecture and giant banana leaves overlap, creating a curious juxtaposition. Using traditional green-and-blue (Qinglü) techniques, I depicted the vitality of the leaves as they surge like waves toward white walls and red tiles.

A home is more than just a structure for shelter; it is the greenery that dialogues with the soul. The utility poles crossing the sky mark the pace of civilization, yet under the shadow of the leaves, everything remains tranquil and harmonious. This painting is a redefinition of "belonging."
