Hazy Banana Leaves
$648.00
The green of memory eventually turns into the color of light. Unlike the usual richness, I used high-key, low-saturation tones here. The banana leaves take on a translucent quality; mountains and sky blur their boundaries, weaving into a dreamlike space.
This painting records the aesthetics of "fading"—when intense sunlight bleaches the color, leaving only the soul of the object. It is a hazy poem about time, memory, and temperature. I wanted to capture that moment where reality and dreams interlace, filled with a lazy, wandering wonder.
Ink and color on Xuan paper.
